I love decorating but of all the spaces in our home that I have decorated, the process of decorating Eli’s nursery was my absolute favourite. There was just something so special about picking out cute little treasures when I was pregnant and imagining the times we would spend together in his sweet little room. When I was pregnant I loved to go and rock in the rocking chair and focus on the light at the end of the tunnel of pregnancy – rocking my squishy babe in the same place! And then when it happened I literally bawled. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to share his nursery with you guys. Most of the sources are linked at the bottom of the post but I blame pregnancy brain for forgetting where I got some of the things, oops!
This rocking chair is super special because it is the one my mom used when me and my sibs were babies! She painted it white and distressed it for me! She’s the best!
I love this wallpaper that I found at Bouclair. Again, shout out to my mama for hanging this for me because there was no way I was doing it with my huuuuge belly!
Oh, the sweet crib where no one sleeps. Jokes, we’re working on it. He naps in it occasionally.
I love the size of this Ikea dresser. It’s a great height to use as a change table and it fits all the things… diapers, blankets, towels, clothes, and the clothes he doesn’t even fit yet.
Sucking on his toe… I can’t even. (Also, how cute is his little diaper bum in his new cloth diapers?!)
If anyone has a nursery to decorate just pleeeeeease let me come to your house and do it. I just want to make all the cute rooms for all the cute babies. 😉
